KISS Drummer ERIC SINGER Interviewed By MUSICIAN'S FRIEND

Musician's Friend recently conducted an interview with KISS drummer Eric Singer. Eric talks about how he started as a drummer, the bands he has worked with throughout his career and how he became the drummer for KISS. He also talks about the new KISS album, "Sonic Boom", the drum gear he uses and being prepared for the gig.

As previously reported, KISS' new album, "Sonic Boom", album will be pressed on 180-gram vinyl in five colors — purple, red, green, blue and black. The LP will be packaged in a full-color gatefold jacket and it iwll include lyrics on the inner sleeve and an exclusive 22" x 33" color poster.

Only 1,000 of each color will be pressed!!

Because of the limited quantities, KissOnline.com is now taking pre-orders and expect the albums to ship in 6-8 weeks.

"Sonic Boom" entered The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 2. This marked the band's highest-charting LP ever.

KISS has notched eight Top 10 albums, according to Billboard.com. Its previous highest-charting set was 1998's "Psycho Circus", which debuted and peaked at No. 3 with 110,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The group's other high-charting sets include 1975's "Alive!" (No. 9),1977's "Love Gun" (No. 4) and 1992's "Revenge" (No. 6).
